Our campaign #BlurredLinesSM, is looking for a volunteer. We are an awareness campaign that focuses on educating college and high schoolers on consent education and sex-positivity. Our goal is to ensure students are aware of what consent is, as well as the resources available in the DC area for sexual assault survivors. Our workshops focus on sex positivity, body empowerment and understanding the importance of consent. 
 
This position involves working with the Project Director and the co-founder to further the campaign's goals and mission, including creating new development opportunities through partnerships and events. In addition, this position also includes coordinating fundraising efforts. We are interested in an individual that is passionate about the cause with an understanding of how to navigate this field. This position will primarily be a remote position, with bi-weekly in-person meetings.  
 
Responsibilities:  ● Help build partnerships with DC organizations and local schools in the area. ● Work on research for our sex education curriculum used in the workshops. ● Promote BlurredLines at local events related to the topic of sex education. ● Organize and coordinate BlurredLines lead workshops along with the other interns ● Assist the Project Co-ordinator director with her tasks and report to her on progress and other matters. 
 
This position will be unpaid and on a semester basis. We are looking for an individual who is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and is able to commit 10-15 hours a week.

 #BlurredLinesSM, is a global student-run campaign that works on creating awareness on sexual assault and violence. We are primarily an awareness campaign and focus on three aspects: consent education, social and legal awareness and peer to peer education. We have experience working with nonprofits in the DC area (Survjustice, NVRDC, Culture of Consent, etc.) and have conducted workshops and were partners with the Department of Justice in helping plan their Annual Youth Summit 2018.
