Spring 2019 Service Day

Friday, February 8th, 2019 from 8:15am to 12:45pm

Service Day is held once a semester where students, staff, and faculty come together to serve with local nonprofit organizations. You can choose to serve at one of the sites listed below. The sign-up deadline is Thursday, February 7.

Everyone MUST check-in on-campus on the morning of the event at the Student Union Ballrooms on the second floor of the Student Union building at their site's listed time. Please be sure to arrive on time.

Everyone returns to the Student Union after their service project for food and refreshments!

*If you plan on serving as a group, please have all participants register individually!
*For all sites: please bring a reusable water bottle.

*For all sites: participants will arrange group transportation before leaving campus for the service site.

*All participants must wear closed-toe shoes, shirts with sleeves AND long pants for working to protect against injury. Improper attire may mean being unable to join your group. If you participated in Fall 2018 Service Day, please wear your t-shirt!

*Please note that service projects are subject to change depending on the needs of the community partners.

*Volunteers will be given 3 service hours for participation.

Feel free to contact serve@unlv.edu if you have any questions!
