I enjoyed volunteering at the Public Education Foundation because it was such an eye opening experience. I got to learn about what they do, which is serve the county's schools by giving supplies to those students in need. They reach out to over 680 schools and that even includes some schools out of state. We got to assist them reach their goals by counting the inventory that will soon be shipped off to teachers. Even only with the two hours we had there, we all worked together and got most of those tasks done. It feels great being able to help this organization and allowing them to spend more time distributing the supplies. I would definitely want to work there again.
I've participated in 5 service days now and this was one of my favorite sites. Opportunity village is my absolute favorite and I would have loved to have gone there.l, so plz add O.V. back to the list of sites!
