For this volunteer experience I logged gift card numbers in a Google Spreadsheet, as well as going into Betty's Boutique and completing some clothing orders
This was my last volunteering time of the semester and I had a great time. All of the volunteer coordinators are great people and I have learned a lot. We reflected on the things we learned this semester and we are all excited about next year. We have a solid foundation of what we want to keep doing when it comes to learning about project 150. I feel so lucky to be a part of this organization and I look forward to coming back next semester.
I spent this volunteer experience working on an online design program called Canva to create some informational flyers for an upcoming Secret Santa event
During this volunteer opportunity I had the chance to do administration work. We are preparing for the holidays and working with families for secret Santa. I had the chance to talk to families to learn more about them and I understand the confidentiality there is between families and those who are donating to them. I also had the chance to log all the students who attended workshops and made sure that all information was inputed in correctly. I enjoy learning all about Project 150 and all the things they have to offer.
For this volunteer experience I started by scanning documents to Taylor's email. After that I called a few families to ask for more details regarding their secret Santa wish list. I ended the day in Betty's Boutique because there were a lot of shoppers.
I was fortunate enough to revisit Project150 after an Engelstad lunch. I had the opportunity to call a few lucky students who had won a raffle for a Thanksgiving dinner provided by a donor to Project150, and I finally finished the Google Spreadsheet for the email generator. After my service experience I was fortunate to stick around and bond with Project150 staff members.
