Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County, First Bank Unit

About

The mission of the Boys and Girls Clubs is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
The Boys and Girls Clubs are non-profit organizations that provide after-school and summer programs for ages 6-18 (most Club members are between 8 and 13). Programs include Homework help; computer instruction/practice; recreation; arts and crafts; mentoring; classes on specific topics (e.g., drugs/alcohol, smoking, character-building), and skills (e.g., cooking, martial arts). Students can create other activities and programs based on their interests, skills, and schedule. In Richmond, we have three Clubs: the Jeffers Unit, the Central Unit, and the Fairview Unit, each with a separate listing on this site.
