This was my last day at the Ronald McDonald House for the 2021 Spring semester. I organized care cards into packs and decided to take a few with me so I could draw on them. I also folded blankets and clothes from the upstairs closet to make them look more neat and presentable for guests.
In the morning, I supervised the front desk and performed related duties. In the afternoon, I helped the staff carry new mattresses into the House.
In my first hour, I supervised the front desk. I also organized 40+ goodie bags for the annual 5K Run and Walk. Finally, I organized care cards into groups of 25 for the Lunch Is On Us Program.
I was at the front desk where I interacted with visitors and guests and answered phone calls and the front door. I also organized pins into sets of four for the development team.
I took care of the front desk by answering phone calls and the front door, as well as guiding guests. I also cleaned and sanitized multiple workstations and desks in the office area to reduce risk of infections.
I supervised the front desk and counted the items in runner bags to make sure they all had the same number of items for the RMHC's annual 5k and Walk.
In the morning, I supervised the front desk, answered phone calls, and performed other relevant duties. Then, I helped with the RMHC's stewardship project, where I organized and stamped thank-you letters to donors. In my last hour, I also vacuumed the second floor and the kitchen's eating area.
I was responsible for operating the front desk, interacting with visitors and guests, answering phone calls, and answering the front door.
I supervised the front desk for the first two hours of my shift by answering phone calls, responding to the front door, answering questions, and greeting visitors. For the later half, I filed old family documents since nonprofits need to conserve files for a minimum of seven years.
On this day I was able to supervise the front desk by answering phone calls and responding to the front door. I also helped to digitally file older documents by using the scanner on the printer. This effort will help to increase storage space and declutter the RMHC.
