Along with general office work, I counted and organized RMHC socks and merchandise into their respective bins and packed Girl Scouts cookies into bags.
i attended to the front desk, facilitated a Desert Crew’s volunteer activity, carried in supplies to the house, and organized and date-labeled food donation.
I helped the House prepare for the annual 5K Run and 1K Walk by preparing goodie bags for participants.
Gave a tour of the house to an incoming guest, helped a volunteer group sign in and begin their activity, sanitized surfaces in the conference area, and supervised the front desk by answering the door and phone calls.
I assisted the Development team with cutting flyers for the House's capital campaign and placed them in goodie bags for the annual run event. I also had the opportunity to help deliver flowers and cards to the guests in each occupied room.
On this day I facilitated one of the volunteer groups for the Weekend Dessert Crew. I also helped the House Manager accept Easter gift donations from two groups. I got to talk about the role of the RMHC in the community by having a conversation with the gift donors and other visitors. I also sanitized work areas and helped with vacuuming.
Today I helped clean one of the rooms, supervised the front desk, and attended a tour for newly incoming RMHC guests.
